i did it

yes that is right I did ti i killed vista. in a n attempt to dual boot win vista and osX o well i am getting all the data off the old drive and will then proceed to do a restore I will prob go a head and do the sp1 update then restart digging through the data abd rebuilding my set up it will probly take a few days to get every thing back up in running  but I hope to be back in SL with photoshop running with in the next 24 hrs at least I still have web and other computer access to another box

 

and we have an update I have started to purchace my domain hosting and should be up with in the next 2 weeks. I e-maild dream host earlyer ans said wtf I have been waiting sence saterday night. but in due time it will be up and I will start migrating over thier. I think that is all for now peace and love

WOW- not quite a month from my last post

ok I know I dont blog often enought I get wraped up in SecondLife and some how loose the blog address,lol. but I thought I would shout out and let ppl know what all is going on I have been busy with my mind. Like I said I have been in SL a lot, maybe too much, but I am able to have some adventures thier. I have been DJ’ing my fingers off and helping ppl build things all over. How do you know you are an SL junkie? you keep too many tabs open in your browser. lol.

Something else new in the BrightKite invite I got. I think I will like this program once I figure out the interface a lilttle bit more, I don’t think it is as intuitive as it could be. but BrightKite is a location based Social networking site. You can search through your twitter friends and add them first if they use brightkite,( do you twit????). well that I think is the update for now.(I really wish WP would allow e-mail to blog I would be able to blog more often than not, o well peace and jah love all.

Digital Copy Dvds? An Exellent Idea

So I was watching TV and saw an commercial for a new movie and it said with digital copy. So I start asking my self “what is this digital copy any way?” Well I did a little research and I am here to present you with my findings.

First digital copy is so far only on Fox, and LionsGate Films. Now I see this like any other thing with the movie studios and production company’s. It will be slow to be adopted then will spread like an infectious disease to all the others.

Second and if not for this I don’t think this would work so well, or at lest would turn me off of it. This digital copy is a wmv that is unlocked by a 16 digit code found in the case. This code allows you to make one digital copy and it will play in your itunes library windows media player, iPod, or iPhone.

So now why do I call this an excellent idea? because this excellent Idea is a step in the right direction to say that we own our digital content and we can use it any way we want. I think the only things better would to have this spread faster than it will and for it to not have any competition unless it is innovation and will make this Idea better. So what do you think Good Idea or Bad Idea

hey all long time no post. I had a lot go down in the last month and have not had a chance to post. My plans for my trip got posponed but not canceled so back to the fresh planing stage. I think I am going to try and do some graphic/web design while im on the road, I think that will help pay some of the bills. I may just find a city i like and just squatt for a short time and make some money then go to the next town or city I want to see. All this is something I am looking at for my journy.

BTW. I have felt horrid the last 3 or so days but right now I will start planing my trip and figuring out how to make money on the road. If you have a suggestion let me know. Yes I know I need to work on my writing and building better content but I think in a journal I can write how I want and in the main content articles I will have a better writing format.but that is life. peace out

Ok update on the trip my wife and I are going to try and work things out and in doing so has postponed the trip hopefully when the time comes for the trip we can both go. still wanting my adventure so not to bad if any of my friends look for me i am going to my first tai chi class tonight. anybody who stumbles on to this can find a profile of me on facebook. anywho I am out of here for not need to get something done around the house today been sort of lazy the last few days and gots to make other people happy. well peace and love to all my digital homies

OK so to all my friends on facebook and twitter, i.e. those who are wondering about the weird  status stuff. well I am planning a trip that I do not know where it will take me or where I will end up. my plan it to head out the first or second week in march. I am waiting to get my income tax return, get a laptop and board a train to miami. I plan on being thier till around mid april, around the 28, and then head to reno nevada. I will be thier a few days and then I am not sure the thought is texas, seattle, or Indianapolis. any thoughts plz let me know.  but as for this day it is done.

This morning I went to church with my mom and then we came home had lunch and watched the Godfather I & II. she took a  nap and I have sat on the couch most of the day and now I have to go to bed need to be up @ 4 for daylabor to get some more funds for my trip and cigs well peace and love talk to yall tomarrow.Nick

Ok I have a new love in the web browser industry…yes its flock the social web browser. It may be new to you but think of fire fox meets all-in-one sidebar(yes i have used the addon app) but on crack with more features. a web browser that i can save a link with out haveing to bookmark it. esp if later you really dont enjoy that site. check it out @ flock.com

Wow I have to give Rafe Needleman A lot of credit on this I Think he is on to something . I just would like to know what we as a social community to help developers with joining all the social network sites. The Flock browser is aiming to bring a lot of this in to one browser but what about people who have multiple social sites they visit and don’t want to have to bring all their friends along. I think if we could get a single mass social network site and from their add in the functionality we want not just create another network because some developer thinks he needs to reinvent the wheel… just some thoughts
